What a day yesterday at the ELEVATE Hub Event.
Most events are remembered for the content. The ones that stay with you are remembered for how they made people feel.
There was a warmth to the whole experience that made conversations easier, more honest, more real. Brilliant speakers, a beautiful venue, and the kind of room where old connections deepened and new ones formed without effort.
Well... my feed seems awash with stories from the ELEVATE Hub annual Event yesterday! And rightly so, what a brilliant day! HR events aren't always fun, but meeting folks from the ELEVATE Hub yesterday was like meeting old friends.
Yesterday's line up included some of the top influences in HR today (hello David Liddle, Nic Elliott, Dr Jo Burrell amongst others).... and some very inspiring HR voices and disruptors - including the wonderful Molly Johnson-Jones, Ray Law, John Hibbs, Dr Ben Levy, Amanda Chadwick and Michelle Flynn. Even the goody bags were fabulous!
I had such a great time at the ELEVATE Hub event yesterday. It's been a long time since I've felt such genuine, inspiring and thought-provoking energy in one room.
This year's theme, The Future of HR: Powered by Tech, Led by People, reinforced that while technology can support better decisions and efficiency, it's how we lead, communicate, build trust and connect with people that makes the difference.
